Trout Club Wedding
Abbey and Eric are simple people with a simple life... self-described as old people who love to watch "Shark Tank". Eric even proposed to Abbey at home while she was cooking green beans after the gym. And their wedding followed suit, just being simply beautiful and a perfect representation of who they are.
The Trout Club is a beautiful country club in Newark and everyone we encountered that day were so helpful and accomodating, even lining up a bunch of golf carts for the bridal party and families to use for the formal photo session (that had to be cut short by a thunderstorm that crept up on us pretty quickly!).
Abbey and Eric had a perfect first look out on the course and then an even more perfect ceremony outside with some light sprinkles raining down on guests at the very end of the I-Do's but they were delighted they got to have their outdoor ceremony and insisted they were getting married out there, rain or shine. My camera and I were happy it was shine but we were mentally prepared for rain!
And it finally happened!! I finally got to witness a REAL flash mob!! I was shooting the reception and saw a group of people in the bar who I hadn't seen all day and they had on fun clothes and not really "wedding" clothes. And sure enough, they were the flash mob!! It took EVERYONE by surprise and it was a blast!!!
I'm thankful Abbey and Eric chose me as their wedding photographer and I'm excited to watch them grow as a couple in their journey! <3 Congratulations Abbey and Eric!!!
